Environment Volunteering Fair at Kirkstall Abbey on Sunday 5 June
Environment Volunteering Fair at Kirkstall Abbey on Sunday 5 June was a great success
As part of the European Year of Volunteering Environment Month, Claire McDonald, Volunteer Leader and Rachel Clunas, Aire Action Leeds Project Officer, brought volunteer information and WOW activities to visitors at the Environment Volunteering Fair at Kirkstall Abbey on Sunday 5 June. The stall joined those from Groundwork, BTCV, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and many others. We had loads of people sign up to volunteer on our waterways, and the younger visitors joined in a litter picking activity and loved learning about wildlife by making dolly peg butterflies.
